Broad Guage trains are available till Kalka near Chandigarh. The journey via toy train from Kalka to Shimla is amazing. There are over 100 tunnels on the way and it is very enjoyable.

Shimla has many tourist attractions, the most famous being the Mall Road. Another attractions are Jakhu temple, Lakkar Bazaar and Kufri. Naldera is yet another not to miss destination which has the oldest Golf course.


2. Dharamshala: One of the most beautiful hill stations is situated in Kangra Valley. Dharamshala is an amazing and cool town that is extremely beautiful hill town. Dharamshala is divided into two parts Upper and Lower Dharamshala. It is also a summer capital of Himachal Pradesh.

There are many places in Dharamshala to visit like Mcleodganj, Bhagsu Nag Temple, Water fall, Naddi, Talnu and Narghota Villages. The pollution free and cool atmosphere is liked by the tourists.

4. Dalhousie Kahjiar and Chamba: For people who love nature and peace Chamba is not to miss. It is a small hill town and still not explored much by the tourists.
Dalhousie was the favorite spot for the Britishers. High mountains and Deodar treea add to its beauty.

Khajiar with its picturesque locations and natural beauty falls on the way from Dalhousie to Chamba.

Nearest broad gauge railway station is Pathankot. Dalhousie and Chamba is well connected by road from Pathankot and other major cities of Himachal. The distance of Dalhousie from Pathankot is 70 Kms.
