Himachal Government Announces 10 Day Strict Corona Curfew Amid Surge in Covid-19 cases
In view of increasing cases of corona infection, the lockdown has been announced in Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh government has decided to impose lockdown in the state from May 7 to May 16 to control Kovid-19 on Wednesday. The decision to impose Corona curfew was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. Government and private offices will remain closed during the lockdown period, but essential services such as health, electricity, telecom, water supply and sanitation sectors have been exempted from this. Work on construction sites, horticulture, agriculture and other projects will continue while educational institutions will remain closed till 31 May.
Government and private transport vehicles will be allowed to
run at 50 percent capacity and inter-state transport services will also
continue. The industrial establishments will operate under the guidelines
issued by the state government.
The cabinet decided to cancel the 10th examinations of
Himachal Pradesh School Education Board and all students will be promoted to
class 11 as per the rules suggested by the Central Board of Secondary
Education. He told that the annual examinations of class 12 will be postponed
till the next order.
Let us know that there is a rapid increase in cases of
corona infection across the country. To deal with the corona infection, the
government of many states has put a lockdown in their respective states.
The effort of all the states, including the Center, is to
deal with this infection as soon as possible. For this, all governments are
doing everything possible on their behalf.
