Fresh Snow Fall and Cold Wave in Himachal
Hills Stations and upper hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh, including Shimla, the Queen of Hills continues to be in the grip of cold Wave. The low-lying plains of Himachal and Punjab are also affected by Snow Fall in the Hills and the cold wave. Most of the areas of Himachal have experienced a sharp drop in the night temperature ranging from Zero degrees to five degrees Celsius, which is normally less than two degrees Celsius.Keylong was the coldest place in the third week of December where the minimum temperature recorded was minus 5.8 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Bhuntar near Shimla was minus 0.1, minus 1.2 of Kalpa, Solan at minus 1 and minus 0.8 degrees Celsius of Manali.
Capital Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 4.6 degrees Celsius. Sundernagar recorded a minimum temperature of 1.1, Dharamsala 5.1, Una 3, Nahan of 6.7, 4.5 of Palampur and Mandi's 4.5 degrees Celsius
