Chamunda Devi Temple Kangra Himachal
Chamunda Mata Temple is located in Kangra District Himachal Pradesh. The famous temple is visited by millions of devotees every year to seek blessings from Goddess Durga, Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham. Chamunda Devi Temple is located about 15 Kms from Dharamshala city, 20 Kms from Palampur, about 20 Kms from Kangra town in Himachal Pradesh. Chamunda devi temple is located on the banks of of Baner river.
You will be delighted to see the view of the giant Dhauladhar range of Himalayas from Chamunda Devi. Frequent buses after every 15 minutes are available from ISBT bus stand Dharamshala to Chamunda Mata Temple. Buses to Chamunda Devi Temple are also available from Kangra, Palampur and other parts of Himachal. If you are going to Chamunda Devi from Delhi, Chandigarh or Punjab you can take any bus to Kangra or Dharamshala. Chamunda Devi is about 500 Kms from Delhi and takes around 10-12 hours.
Nearest Broadguage railway station from Chamunda Devi Temple is Pathankot around 100 Kms away. Regular HRTC and Punjab Roadways buses are available from Pathankot to Chamunda Devi route.
Toy trains from Pathankot are also available to Kangra and Chamunda. The Chamunda Mandir railway Station is around 5 kms from Chamunda Temple.
